Hasaan is a 12 year-old in the sixth grade. He is truly an all around
entertainer. He sings, dances, and plays music, including the snare drum
in the school band and at church. Hasaan is also learning to play the
saxophone, but his favorite instruments are keyboards - piano and organ.
Hasaan loves jazz and gospel music, and his favorite musicians are Stevie
Wonder and Kirk Franklin. He dreams about being a musician when he grows
up. Hasaan said that his second favorite thing is food, and that when it
comes to eating, he can really get down. He also likes participating in
sports, playing with cars, and fixing bikes. Hasaan is into clothes,
especially shoes. He mows lawns to earn money until his big break. He
has been in foster care for about seven years. Hasaan would like a
two-parent family where he can feel as if he’s lived there forever.
