I became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) to make a positive difference
in a child's life. In this capacity, my most rewarding experience was successfully
advocating for the safe placement of two children. My experience with CASA has
empowered me to feel that I have become a resource in the lives of these
children - a person they can trust and someone they can always turn to for whatever
reason. They know that my presence in their lives is solely for the purpose of advocating
for their rights and best interests.
